At Asphalt Group, the pavement performance specialists, we have bolstered our team with the appointment of a new Specification Engineer. With his experience, expertise and knowledge of our specialist asphalting solutions, Adrian Smith joins the team this month to continue forging strong relationships with our valued clients.
We are the experts in providing sustainable and safe solutions that extend the life of asphalt and protect the environment. As specialist suppliers and installers, Asphalt Group offer three main solutions, namely: Reinforcement, Preservation and Surface Dressing. These solutions work together sustainably to improve the quality of pavement, whilst reducing maintenance and whole lifecycle costs.
Speaking about his new role, Adrian said: “I am very pleased to be joining the Asphalt Group team as their new Specification Engineer, covering the North of the UK. I look forward to developing and strengthening mutually beneficial partnerships with consultants and a client base looking for premium solutions that are sustainable, reduce carbon footprint and an installation process committed to health and safety.”
Whilst many of our clients are familiar with our innovative products, particularly our excellent Reinforcement Grid products, our Specification Engineers are on hand to discuss any particulars and arrange Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions for those in the industry.
Adrian continued: “I also look forward to introducing myself in person to our clients at events in the coming weeks and I hope to transfer my experience and insight to my new role whilst supporting the business in this period of growth.”
Adrian has worked as a sales and account manager for over a decade, and brings a wealth of client service experience to the team. His impressive career in construction has seen him work for the likes of Tarmac, Sig and Cemex.
