GLASGRID® CG

Extending pavement life is key to cash savings, increased efficiency and delayed interventions. GlasGrid® CompoGrid (CG) is a geosynthetic pavement reinforcement and moisture barrier system designed to do just that. The system adds another choice to the proven GlasGrid® system, by integrating it with a nonwoven paving fabric.

GlasGrid® CompoGrid (CG) can be used on different structurally stable foundations such as on concrete, cement-bound material or bituminous pavements. This versatility, means that GlasGrid® CompoGrid (CG) can be used in new road builds, or as a preventative measure in refurbishments to delay the onset of recurring problems.

GlasGrid® CompoGrid (CG) provides a high strength, high modulus fibreglass mesh system which reduces the potential of thermal stress-related cracks reflecting through to the surface of the new asphalt overlay.

CG50 - GLASGRID®

GlasGrid CompoGrid CG50 can be used on a variety of surfaces such as concrete, cement-bound material or bituminous pavements. It is this versatility that gives this product range such scope, as it can be used in the building of new roads, or as a preventative measure in refurbishments.

Tensile strength: 55 x 55 ± 5 kN/m Tensile elongation: 2.5% ± 0.5%
Roll size: 95m x 1.5m wide and covers 142.5m²

CG100 - GLASGRID®

GlasGrid CompoGrid CG100 can be used in a variety of different applications, including use on highways, bridges and car parks. Due to its versatile nature it is ideal for trench repairs and construction joints, as well as many other applications. GlasGrid CompoGrid CG100 is a high strength, fibreglass mesh system which is ideal for reducing the potential for reflective cracking.

Tensile strength: 115 x 115 ± 15 kN/m
Tensile elongation: 2.5% ± 0.5%.
Roll size: 70m x 1.5m

CG200 - GLASGRID®

GlasGrid CompoGrid CG200 is an ideal product for road widening and effective reduction of reflective cracking alongside many other applications. It’s perfect for use in distribution centres, recreation sites and footpaths. Once the non-woven layer has been impregnated with bitumen it acts as a moisture barrier. This helps reduce maintenance costs and provides rapid strength to the pavement surface

Tensile strength: 115 x 215 ± 15 kN/m
Tensile elongation: 2.5% ± 0.5%
Roll size: 60m long x 1.5m wide and covers an area of 90m²
